Dr. Michelle F. Ireland founded Ireland Restorative Dentistry to provide comprehensive dental care to the community. For over 20 years, Dr. Ireland has built a reputation as a caring, personable and competent dentist with a specialty in Prosthodontics.
Licensed as a Dentist and certified in fixed and removable Prosthodontics, Dr. Michelle Ireland received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1994 and her certificate in Advanced Prosthodontics in 1996 from UAB School of Dentistry.
She has served as a professor UAB School of Dentistry in the Department of Prosthodontics from 1999 to 2008 where she enjoyed teaching Crown and Bridge Prosthodontics and Removable Prosthodontics with an emphasis on esthetics, occlusion, and implant restoration. From 1996 to 2012, Dr. Ireland maintained a private practice limited to Prosthodontics in Chattanooga, Tennessee, later relocating to Georgia and seeing patients at a practice in Buford, Georgia.
During her faculty appointment she was responsible for instruction at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. She has given many lectures and has served as the main speaker for continuing education courses at both the local and district dental societies and study clubs. To best serve patients, Dr. Irleand maintains her prosthodontic certification through continuing education courses and lectures.
Today, Dr. Ireland is happy to serve patients at Ireland Restorative Dentistry and together with her husband, David, son, Jonathon and daughter, Katie she remains active in local community events, cheer competitions, and traveling.
