Meet our Team

Dr. Michelle F. Ireland founded Ireland Restorative Dentistry to provide comprehensive dental care to the community. For over 20 years, Dr. Ireland has built a reputation as a caring, personable and competent dentist with a speciality in Prosthodontics.

Licensed as a Dentist and certified in fixed and removable Prosthodontics,  Dr. Michelle Ireland received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1994 and her certificate in Advanced Prosthodontics in 1996 from UAB School of Dentistry.

She has served as a professor UAB School of Dentistry in the Department of Prosthodontics from 1999 to 2008 where she enjoyed teaching Crown and Bridge Prosthodontics and Removable Prosthodontics with an emphasis on esthetics, occlusion, and implant restoration.  From 1996 to 2012, Dr. Ireland maintained a private practice limited to Prosthodontics in Chattanooga, Tennessee, later relocating to Georgia and seeing patients at a practice in Buford, Georgia.

During her faculty appointment she was responsible for instruction at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.  She has given many lectures and has served as the main speaker for continuing education courses at both the local and district dental societies and study clubs.  To best serve patients, Dr. Irleand maintains her prosthodontic certification through continuing education courses and lectures.

Dr. Ireland is happy to serve patients at Ireland Restorative Dentistry.  Dr. Ireland prides herself in remaining active and supportive of the local community. Together with her husband David, son Jonathon, and daughter Katie, they enjoy attending sporting events and cheer competitions, as well as traveling as a family.

Melissa is Dr. Ireland’s Office Manager and has been employed with private dental practices in metro Atlanta since 1993.  Her experience is diverse beginning in a clinical setting as a dental assistant. Her top priority has been establishing patient relationships and helping them to understand the entire process of their treatment from start to finish. The best part of her job is seeing a patients new smile when their dental work is completed! She is married and has a large, blended family of six grown children and three grandchildren. When not at our office, she loves spending time with her family, hiking, gardening, and traveling with her husband.

DeJay has been a dental assistant since 2019.  She looks forward to continually growing in her career. Her favorite part of her job is the interactions with patients whether it be helping them to overcome their fears of past treatment or transforming their smiles. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, riding horses, and pretty much anything outdoors.

Brooke is a hygienist. Originally from Iowa, she graduated from KCC in 2012 and moved to Georgia in 2014. With over 14 years in the dental field, she thrives making people feel extra comfortable and cared for during their preventative visits. Brooke is married with two daughters. She enjoys being a mom, hanging out at the pool in the summer and going to the beach with her family.

Kimberly is a part of our administration team. She has been in the dental field since 1999 specializing in billing, coding, transcription, anatomy, and medical terminology. Kimberly enjoys building relationships with patients starting with their very first phone call. She loves to see patients come full circle with their dental health and leave our office with a beautiful smile! Outside of our office, Kimberly spends her time with her two daughters, two grandkids, and listening to true crime podcasts.

Mary Ellen is a hygienist. She graduated from University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 1995. She moved to Georgia 17 years ago. Her favorite part of being a hygienist is being able to create a genuine friendship with her patients. Mary Ellen is married with three kids and four dogs. You can find her traveling, with a book in hand or doing crafts.

Amber is a dental assistant. Amber has 10 years of experience in the dental field. She loves helping Dr. Ireland give patients their smiles and confidence back. She enjoys being with patients from start to finish and seeing them blossom throughout the process! Outside of our office, Amber, her husband and two daughters like to be at the lake or the beach, fishing or doing any outside activity.
